Rolling Hills Golf Club is a Semi-Private, 18 hole golf course located in Longwood, Florida.
Rolling Hills Golf Club first opened for play in 1926.
Rolling Hills Golf Club has an old style charm. The course has rolling terrain, strategically located lakes, and well manicured greens. Numerous sand bunkers have been incorporated into the course design. There are lots of traps to avoid. The greens have lots of twists and turns, even on short putts.
Par for the course is 72. From the back tees the course plays to 6,231 yards. From the foward tees the course plays to 5,393 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 6, a par-5 that plays to 504 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 5, a par-3 that plays to 136 yards from the back tees.
Watch out for # 2, a 393 yard par-4 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole at Rolling Hills is # 11, a 159 yard par-3.
The course closed July 2014. There is talk that buyers are interested in turning the property into low density housing.

This course is the best kept secret in the Orlando Area. If you play, pay the extra $3 for the lunch to be included. The Hot Dog, Hamburger, Chicken Salad, and Tuna are all excellent. Just call on your cell when you tee off on #8 and it will be waiting for you when you turn 9. It includes chips, drink, and pickle slice. I paid anywhere from $28 to $38 dependent upon the day for cart, golf, and lunch. Any imperfections in the keeping of the course was due to the weather and all courses were experiencing that at the same time. I don't know of a better deal in golf. I was in Florida for a month and I played eleven times. All eleven times were on this course.

Very like many of the Pennsyvania Courses I play. For the price, you can't go wrong. It's a good test; in fair condition; not over crowded; and you get lunch along with green fees and cart. The lunch is prepared well and you can phone ahead on your cell from #8 tee so you can eat on the go after nine. $30 on week days includes all.

Not in very good shape but a decent value for the money.
